The staff is amazing and I’d like to send a BIG THANKS to the physical therapist. She helped me so much during my time here and went above and beyond. 

I just visited a friend of mine. As a retired RN who has worked and visited many nursing homes, I would like to say some very positive things that I noticed and which were up to CA State Standards. There was no odor when I walked in (always a good sign). There was quite adequate statff and I was able and encouraged to talk to an professsional there i.e. respiratory therapists, phyiscal therapist. Nursing staff was on top of things and responed quickly when needed. The facility was clean and the patients where up and active as their abilities would allow. I would recommend this facility to anyone. As far as the other comments, because I’ve worked and been a patient in rehab facilities, one reason that your mother was refused a bedpan was that they were trying to encourage her to get out of bed and use the bedside commode. It is unfortunate that sometimes the staff doesn’t explain to family members the reasoning behind their actions. I would not be reluctant to be a patient there.
